Responsibilities
- Convert PSDs to HTML5/CSS3
- Build websites and applications using the latest technologies
- Work closely with designers and project managers to achieve the best possible results in web projects
- Consulting with UX/UI about the implementation of design
- Producing perfect UI/UX design for mobile and web with a focus on responsive mobile-first design
- Perform device and browser compatibility testing
- Ensure all work adheres to current industry best practice
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented and able to work in a team environment
- Building and maintaining reusable code and libraries for future use
- Happy to guide, mentor juniors & other team members
- Convert PSD to WordPress directly using Page Builder (if required)
Requirements
- 2+ years demonstrated professional experience
- A deep understanding of the web and UX principles
- Have a good knowledge of HTML5/CSS, JQuery and JavaScript including frameworks like AngularJS, ReactJS and/or VueJS
- Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
- Strong knowledge of web development tools
- Must have an eye for design
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
- Experience with creating and testing responsive websites
- Excellent attention to detail with pride in producing accurate work
- Outstanding verbal & written communications and organisational skills
- Ability to work autonomously, under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Be creative with a proactive and enthusiastic approach to your work
- In-depth understanding of current industry development best practices
