What You Will Be Doing

  • Gain a deep understanding of our products throughout their entire lifecycle, from architecture to deployment.
  • Contribute to our new vision by developing next-generation platforms and solutions.
  • Architect scalable, maintainable, and high-performance applications that enhance user experience and product functionality.
  • Work closely with stakeholders, product owners, and team members to propose innovations and improvements.
  • Refine workflows, adopt best engineering practices, and maintain code quality.
  • Provide guidance to junior developers and collaborate with team members for continuous learning and improvement.
  • Ensure efficient code execution, security, and application reliability

Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with our internal project manager and product owner to plan, build, and launch the product.
  • Implement API integrations with tools such as WordPress, Google Analytics, Lighthouse, Microsoft Clarity, and OpenAI.
  • Offer your AI experience to contribute innovative ideas that make our products better and help us succeed.
  • Develop and maintain web applications using Laravel and PHP.
  • Build and enhance RESTful APIs and microservices for scalable applications.
  • Manage databases using MySQL/PostgreSQL for efficient data handling.
  • Ensure high performance, security, and scalability in applications.
  • Debug and troubleshoot production issues efficiently.
  • Stay updated on new technologies, frameworks, and best practices.

Necessary Technical Skills

  • Strong experience with AI to derive and present insightful information from complex data.
  • Strong experience in Laravel and PHP OOP development.
  • Proficiency with relational databases such as MySQL/PostgreSQL.
  • Proven experience in developing SAAS platforms, particularly involving AI and SEO.
  • Experience in Test-Driven Development (TDD) and debugging.
  • Experience with AI-driven development tools like GitHub Copilot or Cursor AI is a plus.
  • Understanding of Design Patterns and best coding practices.
  • Experience with Git (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket) for version control.
  • Knowledge of large-scale systems, complex codebases, and performance tuning.
  • Strong research skills and knowledge on Supabase paired with React/Next.js is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Laravel Framework.
  • Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • Ability to contribute ideas to shape the future of WP Creative’s platform.
